What is my employer offering me through The Big Plan?

Traditionally, employers would offer their employees a group health plan (or two!) to choose from. While the requirement of offering group health insurance was met by the employer, the needs of the employees were not taken into consideration. Employees had to hope specific doctors or drugs were covered by the plan and that the plan suit their needs as there was no flexibility offered to the employee.

The Big Plan is a platform that finally puts the choice in the hand of the employee. We exist to create a fairer marketplace that benefits you, speaks your language and respects your pockets. You were offered an ICHRA (individual coverage HRA) - In simple terms your employer is offering you a stipend to purchase health insurance. Want a low deductible plan? We got you covered! A plan that takes your doctor? No problem!

In The Big Plan portal, you will see the stipend that your employer offered for you and your family. You will be asked a few short questions (like what doctors and drugs YOU use) and we will help guide you to the plan that works best for you. This stipend will go towards purchasing the plan, resulting in a plan that makes sense for you.
